Becky & Brian were married on July 16th and what a fantastic day it was for a beautiful wedding! The ceremony was held at Rockway Presbyterian Church in Pelham.  After the ceremony and some family photos, I followed the Bride & Groom as they and their wedding party took their stretch hummer limousine over to the very lovely Jaycee Gardens. There we had a lot of great fun capturing the family & party formals, as well as some very beautiful moments of newly married couple, taking a fairytale-like walk through the park and underneath the willow trees. We ended off the very wonderful day at the Black Sea Hall in St. Catharines for the reception, where many more magical & unforgettable wedding moments happened throughout the night.

Congratulations to Becky & Brian! It is a true honour to have been an essential part of your very special day!

I met with my friends and clients Nathalie & Matt for a fun-filled and very adorable engagement session along the Niagara Parkway on July 14th – three months and one day from the lovely couple’s wedding date this October!

We parked our cars at Dufferin Islands, and took a walk through the picturesque Queen Victoria Park above the Horseshoe Falls, and captured some very lovely & love-filled photos!

Kim & Travis were married on July 9th, 2011 at the majestic Liuna Gardens in Stoney Creek Ontario – and what a fabulous day it was for a beautiful wedding at such a fantastic venue!

This was the first of our wedding photo shoots – for the 2011 Wedding Season.

We would like to thank Kim & Travis for their fantastic hospitality and we wish to congratulate them & wish  many blessings towards their loving marriage.

We met with our very good friend Rita Carrey this past week for a promotional photo shoot – highlighting Rita’s love for music, and to capture some fine promotional shots for her band “The Rita Carrey Band“.  Rita is also the sister of famed Actor/Comedian Jim Carrey (who by the way has a really friggin’ cool & original website-go ahead & click his name-check it out!!), and as well, Rita is the afternoon co-host along with Paul Wainwright on Giant FM.

Rita met us with her very beautiful Mustang , that we hopped into, for an awesome ride along the Niagara Parkway for some really amazing photos!

I met up last week again with the Fisher Family – this time for a small but fun photo shoot at Queenston Heights.  The shoot was mainly for the kids – and despite the fact that it was a very hot & bright sunny day at the park – we were able to get some really awesome captures & candids while the kids had fun checking out the insects on the flowers, and trying to catch the water from the park fountains!  Thanks again to the Fisher Family for coming back again for a second shoot (their first shoot was in the early spring at Dufferin Islands) – we look forward to seeing them again in the near-future!

We were comped a night’s stay at the Sheraton on the Falls on Canada Day – and we were given a quaint but lovely room on the 22nd floor – and what a room with view we had over Niagara Falls!!  This gave us an excellent opportunity to nab some nifty photos of the Falls, the Niagara Parkway, as well as the splendid display of Canada Day Fireworks over the Falls later that night!  Thanks to everyone for an awesome night and for the wonderful little getaway for Canada Day!

As I was rocking my 200mm zoom to capture the epic photo of the Horseshoe Falls above, I was subsequently attacked by a pigeon – presumably guarding his roost adjacent to our 22nd-floor hotel room balcony. The below series of photos will show my attempt to at least capture the bird attack – which was obviously happening far closer (and faster) than what my zoom was able to handle!

and so after that, I zoomed back on the Falls and captured a full frontal amazing angle of the entire water’s edge side of the Toronto Power Generating Station.

 

Queen Victoria Park was getting pretty packed with people to watch the fireworks & take in the fun of Canada Day at Niagara Falls!
