Our wonderful friends Shannon & Jake were married on May 4th, 2013 in Fergus, Ontario – and what a fabulous wedding it was!  The ceremony took place at the Fergus Curling Club, and right afterwards, along with the wedding party & family members, I followed the Happy Couple down to a very lovely little park overlooking the Grand River for some fabulous & timeless formals!  Following that, we returned to the Curling Club for a truly fun night of reception celebration!

I met with Alison & Roger, as well as their loveable dog Dusty at the the Niagara Glen in late February for a fun-filled Couples Shoot.  Alison and Roger are celebrating their 10th Anniversary together this year and were quite excited to update their photos!  We all had a grand time capturing some very memorable moments!

We met with Baby Ethan and his family this month – for Ethan’s first official photo shoot!  The little guy slept for the majority of the shoot, but when he awoke, he was such a good sport for the camera!  Our shoot was fantastic, and the photos of him are superb!

On January 5, 2013 we photographed the wonderful & amazing wedding of Holly & Matt!  We had previously worked with the fantastic couple in November 2012 for a very lovely Engagement shoot (click link to view their engagement photos)

What a grand wedding it was! Our day started at the hotel where Holly and all the lovely ladies in her wedding party were getting ready, followed by a very special & memorable church ceremony. We all then hopped on the Party Bus and took a drive over to Hernder Estate Winery for a fantastic time capturing fun and relaxed formals with the happy couple & their wedding party and family! The location was superb and we all had an awesome time!

The Wedding finished off at John Michael’s Centre for an evening of fun & fantastic reception moments & memories!

Congratulations to Holly & Matt!! … we thank you both for your generous and warm hospitality – we had a truly wonderful day with you and all of your loved ones.

Congratulations to our wonderful friends Lisa and Brad, on the birth of their beautiful baby boy Hayden!   Earlier this month, I visited the Happy Couple at their home, for their requested newborn photo shoot – and what a special afternoon it was!  Hayden responded so well to my camera, and gave some really awesome & timeless expressions!  Absolutely adorable!!

It was just wonderful to see Lisa and Brad again as we had already worked together previously on their Engagement Shoot, as well as their recent Wedding!

I met with Holly & Matt for a fun & memory-filled engagement shoot at Queenston Heights.

The happy couple are set to be married in January 2013, and they had requested for a fun & relaxed fall colour outdoor engagement shoot, and to also include their three wonderful children – who were brought to the park by their uncle. We met with the kids towards the end of our shoot, so that we could capture some awesome family portraits!

Congratulations to Holly & Matt – we are looking forward to seeing you again this January for your Special Day!

We met with our good friends Lisa and Brad for their wedding on October 13, 2012. Our day began with catching some fun & awesome “getting ready” candids of the Bride and Groom, as they and their family & wedding party got ready for the Special Day – at the Clarion Hotel in Fort Erie. We then traveled with them in their limo to their beautiful ceremony at St. Andrew’s Knox Presbyterian Church – followed by some fun & fantastic family & wedding party formals on the grounds of the Historic Old Fort Erie!

The reception was a real blast of great times and celebration – and was held at the Crystal Ridge Community Centre in Ridgeway.

The happy couple are also expecting their first child together – so an extra congratulations are in order for Lisa and Brad. We want to thank you both, as well as all your friends and family for a really wonderful day. It was an honour to have been there to capture all of these wonderful memories to last a lifetime!

We met with the Haymes Family for a fun-filled Fall Photo Session at Queenston Heights.  The entire family throughout all the surviving generations got together, and requested for a relaxed and enjoyable hour of memorable captures – and what a truly enjoyable time we all had!

The shoot was extra special because Grandmother and Grandfather were celebrating a very special wedding anniversary as well!

We met with our fantastic friends and clients Ellie and Steve for their beautiful wedding on September 8th in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Our day began at the Bride & Groom’s house in St. Catharines, where we followed the Groom and his Best Man around the house as they got ready for the Special Day.  We then met with the Bride and wedding party, where they were getting ready at the always majestic Queens Landing.

The couple’s very lovely ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church followed by some fun & memorable family and wedding party captures, and then a memorable walk with the Bride & Groom around the Commons.

The reception at Queens Landing. was a fantastic night of music, dancing, celebration as we joined in with the couple’s families friends and other loved ones for a tremendous night of celebration!

In September, I met with our lovely friends & clients – newly married couple Justine & Kevin – for a fun-filled & very exciting “Trash-the-Dress” Photo Shoot at Albion Falls in Hamilton.  We last saw Justine & Kevin at their wedding on July 29th at Queenston Heights – CLICK HERE to check out their Wedding Preview Highlights!

Justine had always wanted to do a “Trash-the-Dress” session and chose Albion Falls as the perfect location for the shoot -  and this was my first time doing such a shoot – what a grand time it was!

We explored the bottom of the falls and along the river’s edge, and Justine was an incredible participant – including “out-running” Kevin and myself to the bottom of the gorge – as well as back up, getting into and laying down in the waterfall, as well as having an audience of many who were playing tourist to the falls that day – all while in her Wedding Dress the entire time!

One of the most fun moments was having the happy couple get into the rubber boots I brought along!  (see last pic on the blog)

Our wonderful friends and clients Roxanne and Chris have just recently been engaged and have set their wedding date for July 2013!

I met with the Happy Couple for a fun-filled engagement photo shoot – which we began at the Niagara Glen and then a quick stop at the Mackenzie Printery in Queenston, and then we went for a lovely walk through the always majestic Queenston Heights.

Our wonderful friends Jade and Mack were married on August 18th – at a beautiful private family location in Fenwick, Ontario!

The Happy Couple celebrated their Special Day with a very lovely outdoor ceremony, followed by a fantastic feast under the tents, and of course many memories captured with many fun & amazing photos!

We met with our wonderful friends and clients Jennifer & Tyson on August 17th for their lovely wedding!  The ceremony took place at Fireman’s Park in Niagara Falls. Following the ceremony we captured some fun family formals, and then took a lovely walk around the park with the Happy Couple for some memorable & timeless captures of their love for each other!

The night continued at St. Antoine’s Hall in Niagara Falls where we all had a fun night of celebration – complete with an exciting group effort of setting off beautifully-lit Sky Lanterns into the night sky!

We met with our wonderful friends Shannon and Scott on August 3rd for their amazing & beautiful wedding at Ancaster Mill in Ancaster Ontario.

The entire day was filled with magic and many happy memories! We’d like to thank our friends Shannon & Scott, as well as their loving friends and family for all of their wonderful hospitality. It was a real honour for us to capture such amazing memorable moments!

Our wonderful friends and clients, Justine and Kevin were married on July 29th at Queenston Heights – and what a wonderful wedding it was! The day began with stopping in to see both bride & groom as they prepared to unite.  It’s always wonderful to spend time with everyone before the ceremony, and always a fantastic ice-breaker – not to mention, it always makes for great photos!

Following the beautiful ceremony on the patio of the park restaurant where the reception was also to be held, we joined the Happy Couple for a drive in their wedding limousine over to the always majestic Niagara Botanical Gardens. We all went for a very lovely walk throughout the grounds for many fun & very memorable couples portraits.

Once we arrived back to the park, there was a fun & interactive Historical War of 1812 demonstration!  Once the muskets fired to announce the newly-married bride and groom, we rounded up family & friends for some fun formals and then joined them for a night of song & dance, which ended in a grand night of celebration!

Our friends and clients Rosalind and Mark were married on July 27th. Their wonderful and very lovely ceremony took place at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Fonthill.  I then followed the happy couple along with their family and wedding party for some “fun formals” out on the golf course at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club, and then joined in for a scenic horse and buggy trip back to the clubhouse reception with the bride and groom!
